This switch is an attempt at making a kitsch-art/romantic artifact. Since this project coincided with my girlfriend’s birthday I decided to make her a card that would involve touch, romantic symbolism, sensuality and etc. The outlook of the switch is a gift card consisting of a split-up heart covered with copper (conductive tape).Using the Following schematic, the heart could be used as two different and distinguishable switches if an analogue out from it was computed and mapped carefully. One “true” switch when the hearts touch and another when they are connected through human contact.
