My switch is created by using two halves of a peephole. When someone looks through the peephole, a LED lights to indicate this event to the person on the other side. This illustrates a lack of privacy and sense of surveillance. Usually, a peephole protects the individual watching but in this case, both observer and subject are aware of this presence. This switch could be improved by using a spring to ensure the halves of the peephole do not touch until someone presses their head on it.
